About Us

The Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Kamer van Koophandel) has been serving the private sector since 1884 as the official voice of business and industry in Curaçao. As the steward of the Commercial and Foundations Registry, the Chamber provides vital registration, documentation, and advocacy services that form the backbone of the island’s business community. Beyond legal functions, the Chamber plays an active role in promoting investment, trade, and entrepreneurship, both locally and internationally.

MISSION, VISION & PURPOSE

As a chapter, we uphold and bring to life the mission, vision, and values of OCBN:

Activities

Business Registration & Documentation: Maintaining Curaçao’s company and foundation registry, issuing extracts, certificates of origin, and legalizations.

Investment & Trade Support: Providing guidance, orientation, and mediation for entrepreneurs, investors, and small businesses.

Business Information Center: Offering access to directories, economic reports, statistical data, and reference material to support decision-making.

Policy Advocacy: Advising government on economic and business matters to strengthen the island’s investment climate.

Export & International Trade Promotion: Serving as Curaçao’s Trade Point under the UNCTAD network and hosting the Netherlands Trade Commission office for Curaçao and Bonaire.
