The Caribbean is often spoken about as one region, but every market within it has its own character, strengths, relationships and opportunities.

That diversity is one of our greatest assets.

OCBN’s ambassador-led model is designed to connect those strengths without losing what makes each market unique. Our ambassadors bring local knowledge, trusted relationships and an understanding of their business communities into a wider regional ecosystem.

Today, OCBN has nine chapters.

Together, they are creating more ways for entrepreneurs, businesses, professionals and organizations to find one another, share opportunities and collaborate across borders.

Curaçao: Where the journey began

Curaçao is where OCBN first took shape and where the Foundation is registered.

Its multilingual culture, international outlook and position between the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe make it a natural meeting point for regional and international business. Curaçao continues to provide OCBN with a strong foundation from which to build, test ideas and create connections across markets.

Aruba: Hospitality, creativity and enterprise

Aruba brings a globally recognized tourism and hospitality sector, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a growing focus on innovation.

Its creative, culinary and hospitality communities offer valuable opportunities for collaboration, while its international reach creates connections far beyond the island.

Suriname: Resources, opportunity and regional reach

Suriname brings cultural diversity, natural resources and growing opportunities in energy, agriculture, trade and professional services.

Its strengthening economic relationship with Guyana also creates an important gateway into the Suriname–Guyana business corridor. The chapter can help connect local enterprises with regional partners, investment opportunities and wider markets.

Jamaica: Scale, creativity and influence

Jamaica brings one of the Caribbean’s largest and most dynamic markets, together with global cultural influence and an unmistakable entrepreneurial drive.

Its strengths in technology, tourism, the creative industries, professional services and social enterprise create opportunities that can travel throughout the region and internationally.

Barbados: Leadership, business and regional connection

Barbados is home to regional institutions, international businesses and a well-established professional-services sector.

It brings experience in finance, tourism, innovation and international engagement, along with a strong tradition of convening Caribbean leaders and advancing regional conversations.

St. Kitts & Nevis: Agility and access

St. Kitts & Nevis demonstrates the agility and relationship-driven approach that smaller Caribbean markets bring to regional collaboration.

Its strengths in tourism, financial services, investment and entrepreneurship offer valuable opportunities, particularly when local businesses gain access to relationships and visibility beyond their immediate market.

Grenada: Sustainability, education and enterprise

Grenada brings strengths in agriculture, tourism, education and the blue and green economies.

Its reputation as the Spice Island reflects a strong local identity with international appeal. There is significant potential to connect Grenadian expertise, products and sustainable initiatives with new partners and markets across the region.

Trinidad & Tobago: Industry, expertise and scale

Trinidad & Tobago brings deep experience in energy, manufacturing, finance, technology and professional services.

As one of the Caribbean’s largest economies and a base for many regional companies, it can connect OCBN members with established industries, specialist expertise and broader commercial opportunities.

The Bahamas: Global access and ambition

The Bahamas brings international reach, a globally recognized tourism industry and considerable experience in financial services, maritime activity and investment.

Its proximity to North America, combined with its strong Caribbean identity, creates valuable opportunities for connecting regional businesses with international markets.

Stronger through connection

No chapter stands alone.

An entrepreneur in Grenada may find expertise in Trinidad & Tobago. A hospitality business in Aruba may connect with a partner in Jamaica. An organization in Barbados may discover an initiative in Suriname. A Curaçao-based company may find its next opportunity in The Bahamas.

This is what becomes possible when local knowledge is connected to a wider regional network.

Our ambassadors are central to making that happen. They listen to their local business communities, identify opportunities, build relationships and create pathways into the broader OCBN ecosystem.

Nine chapters do not simply give OCBN nine locations. They give the network nine different perspectives, nine sets of relationships and nine gateways into the Caribbean.

As every chapter grows, the value of the whole ecosystem grows with it.

We invite you to join your local chapter, explore the wider network and discover what becomes possible when the Caribbean connects.

Connect. Collaborate. Create.
